My mate Kev who is an avid camper and likes nothing more than to go 5 or 15 hrs away from anyone or anything regularly.
He decided to upgrade the old "turtle" that had served him well over the years.
The new rig is a 79 V8 diesel.
HF, UHF, Big Tyres, 3 batteries, inverters, Wind up mechanism (Battery Drill), blower to keep the dust out, sucker to fold up the canvas when putting the top down, full length bed, fully insulated walls, alloy everything,  Water tanks, extra fuel tanks for truck and for bike and heaps heaps more.  Took him best part of a year....that i can remember.  I'm sure kev would like me to thank very much the friends who helped him and mum and dad who worked on the campa and produced food and allowed him to carry on well into the nights.

You all have done an awesome job.  Really.
