Nose
I bought a second hand nose to modify.
With the 'duratec' Motor quite high, I had to lift height of the nose as well as
spread it 100mm

I used a hot melt glue gun, initially, to glue timber spacers to the quarters of
the nose.

Using G Cramps and timber to get the positions correct.

The Hot Melt Glue Gun is OK for temporary fixes. However don't rely on it
for to long.

Checking the nose on the car.

The next phase is to Fibreglass the back of the nose and then check all the
dimensions again.

Now it's time to start organising all the extra pieces. i.e. the nose back
to the chassis and forming the front.

It was necessary to cut large sections out of the original nose to get some
curves correct.
You can see here alloy sheeting used to box in the shape that was needed.

I plugged the front as well as I needed to get the shape correct in the front.

All gaps are plugged with modelling clay. Remember at this point I'm just
going fibreglassing the inside of the nose.

A good shot of the Alloy shaped with all the concave curves and bends required.

Nearly ready for Glassing.

It's not pretty but it's effective. Next steps will be to bog all the gaps
and slight issues.

Guards
The Guards are ABS. With a Carbon Look.
Now, the scratches are actually on the plastic protective film on top of the
Guard itself.
I'll take this film off upon finishing the car.

I have purchased the Rear ones from
Genisus in WA.
260mm And the front 230 from
plays-kool in the UK.
They were really great people. Highly recommend them both.
Here is the Guard on the Plays-Kool own Car.
