Wiring the bugger.........I don't want to offend but.......holly crap........

I want to keep this locost so i'm using the original lume and will be stripping it back as i go.
Check out the photo's of the car with everything (i can find) plugged in.

OK i received some error codes so I then had to purchase a USB OBD scanner.  Grabbed one off eBay really cheaply.  I am not endorsing this one over others.  Just this is the one i bought.  I had to contact the manufacturer to get it to work.  Here is what I HAD to do.

1 Unplug the internet from my computer so when I plugged the OBD scanner in, Vista asked for drivers rather than going to the net for them.

2 Use the drivers on the disk that came with the OBD scanner

3 Set the com port of the device to COM3

4 Load Program Software and ensure the software is set to COM3 with Baud rate changed from "9600" to "38400"

4 Right click My computer----> Properties----> Hardware----> Device manager----> Interface
Then check if it shows usb Serial Port(com3) and Baud Rate 38400.

Nothing like a fun afternoon with the old Oscilloscope, laptop and a *&%^$& Duratec ECU and Loom

A nice wave form showing the High and Mid Bus + from pin 6 High Bus and Pin 14 Mid Bus.  they should be mirrored apparently.  Mine has a bit of noise as well.  Not impressed, don't know how to fix this yet.
